Take a Twirl

Style Bee - Midi Me Style Post

I’m not much a of a vintage fashion buff but I’ve been lucky enough to claim a few vintage prizes in my closet. About a year ago my Mum offered me one of her skirts from parties past which happened to be gorgeous, long and black with endless potential. I was instantly in awe of the luxurious fabric, and just how much there was of it. It was so full and elegant and just begging to be twirled in. I had the hemline shortened to a midi length for an updated party look and paired it with my favourite fancy accessories for a wedding earlier this spring. I’d pair it now with a chambray button down and some strappy heels for a more relaxed look. I know this skirt will be in my closet for the rest of my party years and maybe one day my daughter will take a twirl in it too.
