Where To Shop for Reusable Face Masks

08.06.20

Hello, hello! I’ve been working away on today’s post for a while now (thanks for your patience!) and I’m happy to share a range of places to source good quality, reusable and thoughtfully made face masks in Canada, the US, and internationally. A couple of these are from sources I’ve personally shopped from while others came highly recommended from followers or have been on my radar for a bit.

This roundup includes lots of different styles, prints, materials, fits & price points (most under $20 CAD). I’ve grabbed a visual for each brand/maker mentioned but be sure to explore their options and read all the information carefully to ensure it’s the best option for you.

Face masks are currently mandatory in indoor public spaces throughout most of Ontario (more on this here and here) and will likely be necessary for the foreseeable future. Please see the poster at the end of this post for basic face mask do’s and don’ts and find a link to learn about and download the COVID Alert App for Canadian residents.

Let’s mask up because wearing is caring!

This post was not produced in partnership with any brands mentioned but does contain affiliate links. If you see something you like and decide to shop through the links included, I may earn commission at no additional cost to you. All opinions are always my own and I only feature items I love to wear. Thanks for supporting Style Bee!

DO YOU WEAR GLASSES?

Well then, you know the fog struggle is real! Before you buy a new mask, check out these two videos on how to prevent fogging:

3 Ways To Prevent Fogging While Wearing Glasses & a Mask

I haven’t tried them all but the soap trick works for short trips and the Kleenex trick works for longer.

MASK MARKETPLACES

ETSY

{Global Makers – INTL Delivery}

ETSY was by far the top recommended spot to look for masks. When shopping on ETSY I like to search for local sellers to start by checking off “Canada”in the location filter. Then I tend to check out those with a “Bestseller” & “Free Deliver” tag first. Here are some that I like the looks of.

I have three of these masks and really like them. The ear elastics are soft and adjustable and the cotton is sturdy but comfortable. There is a sleeve for a filter and adjustable wire in the top seam to form to the bridge of your nose.

Thanks for tuning in!

I hope this post points you to some good options for reusable face masks. Wearing a mask is so important and something we can all do to help keep ourselves & those in our community safe.

As always I’d love any additional recommendations, so please feel free to share those in the comments.

Stay safe folks!

thank you for this list. it’s nice to look to smaller brands and not large corporations for something like this as well. and the patterns/materials are so much nicer.

where is the mask in your top photo from? i find so many sit high, right near my eyes, and fog up my glasses. that one sits nice and low.

    • Lee the Bee says:

That mask is from Harly Jae, an indie brand I love based in BC. I believe the mask pre-order is currently sold out but you can add your email to the waitlist for the next run. Worth it for sure because they’re the best I’ve tried when wearing glasses. Thanks for reading Diann!

  2. Susan Telfer says:

Thanks for this great list. Another one I like (big Canadian company) is Roots. Similar price.

  3. G says:

Hi, I’m looking for local options where I live (outside Canada). Do you any recommendations for what to look for in terms of fabric, style etc? Thanks!

    • Lee the Bee says:

Hey! I would look for natural fibres like linen/cotton as those are still tightly knit but breathable & gentle on the skin. I have found that masks with ear elastics work better for me than the kind that ties around the head/neck. I also like having a nose wire to ensure it fits onto my face well (this helps with glasses & fog too). Hope that helps!
